Minister of Emergency Situations Emel Etem has announced in the seaside city of Burgas that 112 emergency telephone number will be launched in the city at the end of the week, Focus News Agency’s correspondent reported. The telephone number will cover four regions – Burgas, Sliven, Yambol and Stara Zagora. The operators have already been appointed. They have been attending training courses since Saturday. “On August 27th at 00.00 a.m. the emergency call center will be connected with all lines in the region. People will be able to call the 112 emergency number as of August 28th 07.00 a.m.,” the minister added. Burgas is one of the six centers in Bulgaria, which process calls on 112 emergency number.
