Cost Of Living In Bulgaria Compared To UK

Supermarket in São Paulo

This list of comparing prices in Bulgaria to the UK was taken from www.questbg.com an online magazine who I have great respect for. Looking at the list of items being a English expatriate myself the only items I buy are beer, bread, yoghurt, mincemeat and deodorant. I can see the point of this article geared towards Brits living here wanting to maintain their British style supermarket diets. In fact I was quite shocked looking at all these convenience foods thinking I used to live on this type of stuff in the UK! Why are so many expatriates still doing this in Bulgaria with the option of so much fresh food around?

I recommend you read questbg.com especially if you are an expatriate, there are some very well written articles within.
