Earthquake in The Bulgarian Tundzha Region

I was in the village of Skalitsa yesturday afternoon and a great boom was sounded and my farmhouse shook and a split second later another boom and shook again but less severe. I thought the local power station had blown up. This explains it. I was in the house at the time, if this was a small quake I would hate to be in a larger one.

A light earthquake measuring 2,5 on the Richter scale was registered Friday around 2 pm in Bulgaria's South-East Tundja Municipality, Yambol district.

No injuries or damaged buildings have been reported so far, Darik Radio announced.

The Geophysics Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences provided the information about the shake.
