Recession Hitting Bulgarian Firms Hard

GAZA, GAZA STRIP - MARCH 26: Mo'taz Al-Haddad,...

It is no suprise that more jobs are lost in Lovech, Bulgaria. Already in Yambol my home town hundreds of workers have been laid off due to recession hit industries and there is no relief or light at the end of the tunnel. Even work abroad has dried up tor Bulgarian workers who travel to America, Spain, Germany and Greece to work and bring money back home.

- Three companies in the region of Lovech in northernBulgaria will lay off a total 396 workers in May and June due to the economic crisis, the regional labour inspectorate says (Monitor, Duma).
