Michael Bolton Concert In Sofia

Michael Bolton Concert In Sofia

There seems to be a feast of world known musical artists in Bulgaria right now. Groups such as U2, Uriah Heap, Limp Bizkit and now Michael Bolton here in Bulgaria. Mr Bolton has a slightly more laid back form of music that will appeal to a slightly older generation of Bulgarian. My partner is a great fan of Michael Bolton but the ticket and travel to get and see him are well beyond the financial reach of most Bulgarian. Most are confined to hearing a little clip on the National television news.

Michael Bolton Concert In Sofia

Michael Bolton will perform tonight in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia. The concert will begin at 8pm, part of his world tour "The Very Best of Me". The event is organised by Balkan Entertainment.

Bulgarian fans will be treated to Michael Bolton classics like How Am I Supposed To Live Without You, When a Man Loves a Woman, Only A Woman Like You, Love Is A Wonderful Thing and others. Tickets are still available at the NDK ticket centre, priced between 30 and 80 leva.

Bolton, who has sold more than 53 million records worldwide, is renowned for his soft, romantic rock music and love songs. He has performed in the past with Luciano Pavarotti, Bob Dilan, KISS, Barbara Streisand, Mark Antony, Ray Charles and many others.

In 1993, he established the Michael Bolton Foundation which eventually became the Michael Bolton Charities, assisting women and children at risk from the effects of poverty, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. The foundation has provided more than $3.7 million in funding to local and national charities.

Bolton also serves as honorary chairman of Prevent Child Abuse America, the national chairman for This Close for Cancer Research, and a board member for the National Mentoring Partnership.
